It's hitting me kind of hard this week. Kids grow up, and they grow up fast.

Exactly 18 years, 2 months, and 21 days ago, at the wee age of 13, I walked in to a hospital room anticipating meeting a Ryan and SURPRISE.... there laid tiny little Paige.

From that day forward she never stopped surprising any of us.

This beautiful girl gave me the title of "Aunt".

She was given my middle name.

She is SOOOOO much like me it's almost scary.

I've watched her grow, kissed her owies, held her while she cried, calmed her down, seen her at her breaking point, talked her through struggles, and have LAUGHED & LAUGHED & LAUGHED with her.

It truly is unbelievable that she graduates in 7 short months. How did that happen, where did the time go......

Now, I sit here thinking of the future she has ahead of her, the path she will take, the career she will choose, the family she will make and the rest of her life that she will live.
